পাবনা প্রতিনিধি : বাংলাদেশে নির্মাণাধীন রূপপুর পারমাণবিক বিদ্যুৎকেন্দ্রের প্রথম ইউনিটের রিয়্যাক্টর ভবনের আভ্যন্তরীণ কন্টেইনমেন্ট ডোমের ধাতব কাঠামো স্থাপন সম্পন্ন হয়েছে (রূপপুর পারমানবিক বিদ্যুৎ কেন্দ্র নির্মান প্রকল্পের ঠিকাদারী প্রতিষ্ঠান এসএসই জেএসসি রোসাটম রাষ্ট্রীয় কর্পোরেশন প্রকৌশল শাখা ) ।
সাব কন্ট্রাক্টর ট্রেস্টরোসেম এলএলসি এর বিশেষজ্ঞগন আভ্যন্তরীন ডোমের শেষ টায়ার উত্তোলন এবং স্থাপন সম্পন্ন করে , অর্থাৎ ১৩৫০ টন উত্তোলন ক্ষমতার ভারী ক্রেনের লিভারের সাহায্যে ২৩০ টনের ধাতব কাঠামোকে উত্তোলন করা হয় । ধাতব কাঠামোটিকে রিয়াক্টর ভবনের +৫১.৭০০ থেকে +৬০.৫০০ উচ্চতায় উঠিয়ে নকশা অনুযায়ী স্থাপন করা হয় ।
এসএসই জেএসসি এর ভাইস প্রেসিডেন্ট ও রূপপুর পারমানবিক বিদ্যুৎ কেন্দ্র নির্মান প্রকল্পের পরিচালক এলেক্সি ডেইরী বলেন “ প্রথম ইউনিটের আভ্যন্তরীন কন্টেইনমেন্টকে +৬০.৫০০ উচ্চতায় উঠিয়ে স্থাপন করা ২০২১ সালের একটি গুরুত্বপুর্ন ঘটনা । রূপপুর পারমানবিক বিদ্যুৎ কেন্দ্র নির্মানের আরেকটি মাইলফলক সফলতার সাথে অতিক্রমিত হলো । এই ইউনিটের পরবর্তী ধাপের কাজগুলো হলো রিয়াক্টর ভেসেল , একটি স্টীম জেনারেটর ও একটি প্রধান সার্কুলেশন পাইপলাইন কে সংযোজন করা” ।
আভ্যন্তরীন কন্টেইনমেন্টের স্থাপনার কাজে একে দুটি ধাপে উত্তোলন করা হয়েছে ; +৪৪.১০০ মিটার থেকে ৫১.৭০০ মিটার এবং সেখান থেকে +৬০.৫০০ মিটারে উত্তোলন । ডোমের নিচের অংশ ৪৪মিটার ব্যাস ও ১৮৫ টন ওজন বিশিষ্ট একটি ধাতব কাঠামো যাকে এক সপ্তাহ আগেই নির্ধারিত জায়গায় স্থাপন করা হয় । সামনের দিনগুলোতে বিশেষজ্ঞগন +৪৪.১০০ এর ওপরে আভ্যন্তরীন কন্টেইনমেন্টে কংক্রিটিং করতে শুরু করবে । পরিকল্পনা অনুযায়ী সেপ্টেম্বর মাসে ১ নং ইউনিটে নকশা অনুসারে রিয়াক্টর ভেসেল স্থাপন করা হবে ।
রূপপুর পারমানবিক বিদ্যুৎ কেন্দ্র বাংলাদেশের রাজধানী ঢাকা থেকে ১৬০ কিলোমিটার দূরে পাবনা জেলার পদ্মা নদীর পুর্বতীরে নির্মিত হচ্ছে । রোসাটম রাষ্ট্রীয় কর্পোরেশন প্রকৌশল শাখার নকশার অনুযায়ী এটি নির্মিত হচ্ছে । এই প্রকল্পে মোট ২টি ইউনিটের প্রত্যেকটিতে ভিভিইআর ১২০০ টাইপের জেনারেশন থ্রি প্লাস চুল্লি থাকছে এবং এগুলোর জীবনকাল ৬০ বছর, যা পরে আরো ২০ বছর বাড়ানো যেতে পারে । রাশিয়ান নকশার এই ভিভিইআর ১২০০ রিয়াক্টর, যা বাংলাদেশের জন্য বেছে নেয়া হয়েছে , এটি নভোভোরোনেঝ পারমানবিক বিদ্যুৎ কেন্দ্রের দ্বিতীয় ইউনিটে সফল ভাবে ব্যাবহার করা হচ্ছে । এই ধরনের রিয়াক্টর গুলো যুগান্তকারী জেনারেশন থ্রি প্লাস প্রযুক্তি যুক্ত এবং সম্পুর্ন আন্তর্জাতিক নিরাপত্তা মান অনুযায়ী নির্মিত ।

Installation of the dome part of Rooppur NPP power unit No. 1 has been completed
Dhaka, 04 August 2021–The installation of metal structures for the inner containment dome has been completed in the power unit No. 1 reactor building at the Rooppur NPP construction site in the People’s Republic of Bangladesh (PRB) (the general contractor for the NPP construction is ASE JSC of the Rosatom Engineering Division).
Specialists of the Trest RosSEM LLC subcontractor in the PRB implemented the lifting and installation of the last tier of the inner containment dome, i.e. metal structures with a total weight of 230t were lifted by a Liebherr heavy crawler crane of 1350t lifting capacity. Its mounting in the design position (from +51.700 elevation to +60.500 elevation) completes installation of the inner containment metal structures of the reactor building.
“An important key event of 2021, i.e. mounting the inner containment dome metal structures up to +60.500 elevation has been completed at power unit No. 1. Another very important landmark has been successfully passed on the path of the Rooppur NPP construction. The next stage of works at this power unit will include works for connecting and starting up a polar crane, assembling a reactor vessel, a steam generator, and a main circulation pipeline, ”said Alexey Deriy, ASE JSC Vice-president – Director for the Rooppur NPP construction project.
The installation works on the inner containment dome mounting were carried out in two stages – from +44.100m elevation to +51.700m elevation and further on to +60.500m elevation.The lower part of the dome is a metal structure of 44m diameter and 185t weight installed in its regular place a week earlier. In the near future, specialists will start concreting the inner containment above the +44.100 elevation.
In September, it is planned to carry out an operation to install the power unit No. 1 reactor vessel into the design position. The Rooppur NPP site is located on the eastern bank of the Ganges River in the Pabna district at a distance of about 160 km northwest of the city of Dhaka, the capital of the Republic of Bangladesh. The facility is designed and constructed by the Engineering Division of the ROSATOM State Corporation. The nuclear power plant will consist of two VVER-1200 reactor power units, their the life cycle is expected to be 60 years with the possible extending of the service life for another 20 years. The Russian design with VVER-1200 reactors successfully implemented at Novovoronezh NPP- 2 was selected for the first NPP in Bangladesh. This is an evolutionary GenIII+ design which fully complies with all international safety requirements.

Rooppur NPP
The Rooppur NPP is a Russian-designed nuclear power plant in the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. The selected site for the construction of the station is located on the east bank of the Padma River, 160 km from the capital of Bangladesh, Dhaka. The Rooppur NPP is planned to be built within the framework of an intergovernmental agreement between Russia and Bangladesh, which was concluded in November 2011. In the fall of 2013, the foundation stone of the future power plant was laid. The plant will consist of two power units with VVER-type reactors, the life cycle of which is 60 years with the possibility of extension for another 20 years.
