শুরু হলো ৮ম বাংলাদেশ স্কুল অব ইন্টারনেট গভর্নেন্স
নিজস্ব প্রতিনিধি : বৃহস্পতিবার, ২৫ এপ্রিল বিকেল থেকে বাংলাদেশ প্রকৌশল বিশ্বদ্যিালয়ের কম্পিউটার বিজ্ঞান ও প্রকৌশল অনুষদে শুরু হলো বাংলাদেশ স্কুল অফ ইন্টারনেট গভর্নেন্স (বিডিসিগ) এর ৮ম স্কুলিং। এবারের স্কুলে অংশ নিয়েছেন ৮২ জন ফেলো।
তিনদিন মেয়াদী এই ক্লাসে ইন্টারনেট প্রশাসনের আদ্যোপান্ত যেমন গভর্নেন্স, ইন্টারনেট গভর্নেন্স ও ডিজিটাল গভর্নেন্স, ছাড়াও কৃত্রিম বুদ্ধিমত্তা, ইন্টারনেট অব থিংস, ডিএনএস ও ইন্টারনেট ইকোসিস্টেম এবং বিগ ডাটা বিষয়ে হাতে কলমে শিখছেন নির্বাচিত শিক্ষার্থীরা।তাছাড়া সমাপনী দিবসে নিরাপদ ইন্টারনেট, প্রযুক্তি ও আইন বিশেষ করে এআই পলিসি আইন, তথ্য বা উপাত্ত সংরক্ষণ আইন, টেলিকম আইন, ই-কমার্স আইন, স্মার্ট বাংলাদেশ ও ডিজিটাল বৈষম্য দূর করার জন্য আলোচনার মাধ্যমে বিভিন্ন উদ্যোগ সম্পর্কে আলোচনা।
অনুষ্ঠানের শুরুতে স্বাগত জানান বিআেইজএফ সেক্রেটারি জেনারেল আবদুল হক অনু, সেশন পরিচালনা করেন জনাব রেহান উদ্দিন আহমেদ রাজু। গভর্নেন্স, ইন্টারনেট গভর্নেন্স ও ডিজিটাল গভর্নেন্স নিয়ে আলোচনা করেন এএইচএম বজলুর রহমান, প্রধান নির্বাহী বিএনএনআরসি ও ভাইস চেয়ার, বাংলাদেশ ইন্টারনেট গভর্নেন্স ফোরাম।
অংশগ্রহণকারীরা বিশেষ করে নিরাপদ ইন্টারনেট, প্রযুক্তি সংশ্লিষ্ট আইন, এআই পলিসি ও আইন, ডাটা প্রোটেকশন, ই-কমার্স এর মতো বিষয়ে আলোচনা এবং পরবর্তীতে কিভাবে আরো উত্তরোত্তর উন্নয়ন সম্ভব সে বিষয়ে আলোচানা রয়েছে। ডিজিটাল বৈষম্য শুন্যে নামিয়ে আনার অঙ্গীকার নিয়ে সাজানো কর্মপরিকল্পনা নিয়ে বহুপক্ষীয় কর্মসূচি নিয়ে আলোচনার মধ্য দিয়ে শনিবার সন্ধ্যায় শেষ হবে এই কর্মশালা।
তিন দিনের বিভিন্ন সেশনে ক্লাস পরিচালনা করছেন বুয়েটের কম্পিউটার বিজ্ঞান ও প্রকৌশল অনুষদের অধ্যাপক ড. এ বি এম আলিম আল ইসলাম, সহযোগী অধ্যাপক ডঃ মোহাম্মাদ আলী নাঈম এবং প্রভাষক মোঃ আব্দুর রশীদ তুষার, মোঃ আশরাফুল ইসলাম, একেএম মেহেদী হাসান, মোঃ এনামুল হক প্রান্ত, মোঃ আদনান কাইয়্যুম ও মাওয়েজাতুন হাসানা। আরো থাকছেন ব্র্যাক বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের স্কুল অব ল অনুষদের জ্যেষ্ঠ প্রভাষক সাইমুম রেজা তালুকদার, নর্থ সাউথ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সহযোগী অধ্যাপক ড. জুলকারিন জাহাঙ্গীর এবং এটুআই এর ন্যাশনাল কনসালটেন্ট মোঃ শাহরিয়ার হাসান জিসান।
এছাড়াও আলো হিসেবে থাকছেন বাংলাদেশ টেলিযোগাযোগ নিয়ন্ত্রণ কমিশনের (বিটিআরসি) চেয়ারম্যান প্রকৌশলী মহিউদ্দীন আহমেদ, ভাইস চেয়ারম্যান মোঃ আমিনুল হক, কমিশনার প্রকৌশলী শেখ রিয়াজ আহমেদ এবং মহাপরিচালক ব্রিগেডিয়ার জেনারেল মোঃ খলিল উর রহমান।
বিভিন্ন শেসনে আলোচক হিসেবে আরো থাকছেন বাংলাদেশ ইন্টারনেট গভর্নেন্স ফোরামের (বিআইজিএফ) সহ-সভাপতি এএইচএম বজলুর রহমান এবং প্রযুক্তি ও টেলিকম বিশেষজ্ঞ সুমন আহমেদ সাবির।
সমাপনী অনুষ্ঠান সভাপতিত্ব করবেন বিআইজিএফ চেয়ারপারসন হাসানুল হক ইনু। পুরো স্কুল সঞ্চালনায় থাকছেন বিআইজিএফ মহাসচিব মোহাম্মাদ আব্দুল হক অনু। স্কুল পরিচালনায় আরো দায়িত্ব পালন করছেন স্কুলের সেক্রেটারি আশরাফ রহমান পিয়াস, ভাইস চেয়ার নাজমুল হাসান মাজুমদার ও ফেলোশীপ কমিটির সভাপতি ইকবাল আহমেদ।
8th Bangladesh School of Internet Governance of BIGF Starts
The 8th Bangladesh School of Internet Governance (bdSIG) took place in the Computer Science and Engineering Faculty of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) on Thursday, April 27, in the afternoon. This year, 82 fellows participated in the school for three days. The selected students had the opportunity to learn the basics of Internet administration, including Governance, Digital Governance, Artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, DNS and Internet ecosystem, and Big Data. On the final day, topics such as securing the internet, technology, and law, especially AI, were discussed. Additionally, various initiatives were discussed through the Policy Act, Information or Data Protection Act, Telecom Act, E-Commerce Act, Smart Bangladesh, and Digital Discrimination.
The program includes sessions on various topics such as safe internet usage, technology-related laws, AI policies and laws, data protection, e-commerce, and the future of technology. On Saturday evening, the school will conclude with a discussion on a multi-stakeholder program, which aims to create action plans to address the digital divide. BIGF Secretary General Abdul Haque Anu initiated the program, and Rehan Uddin Ahmed Raju moderated the session. AHM Bazlur Rahman, Chief Executive of BNNRC, discussed governance, internet governance, and digital governance.
The Professor of Computer Science and Engineering faculty of BUET is conducting sessions over three days. ABM Alim Al Islam, Associate Professor Dr. Mohammad Ali Naeem, and Lecturers Md. Abdur Rashid Tushar, Md. Ashraful Islam, AKM Mehdi Hasan, Md. Enamul Haque Md., Md. Adnan Qayyum and Maezatun Hasana.
Saimum Reza Talukder, Senior Lecturer of the School of Law Faculty of BRAC University, Associate Professor of North South University Dr. Zulkarin Jahangir, and a2i’s National Consultant Md. Shahriar Hasan Jisan. Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) Chairman Engineer Mohiuddin Ahmed, Vice Chairman Md. Aminul Haque, Commissioner Engineer Sheikh Riaz Ahmed, and Director General Brigadier General Md. Khalil Ur Rahman will attend the closing session.
Bangladesh Internet Governance Forum (BIGF) Vice-president AHM Bazlur Rahman and Technology and Telecom Expert Sumon Ahmed Sabir are also present as discussants in various sessions. BIGF Chairperson Hasanul Haq Inu will preside over the closing ceremony.
BIGF Secretary General Mohammad Abdul Haque Anu manages the entire school. Bangladesh Internet Governance School Secretary Ashraf Rahman Piyas, Vice Chair Nazmul Hasan Mazumder, and Fellowship Committee Convener Iqbal Ahmed perform other school management duties.
