নিজস্ব প্রতিনিধি : পোশাক শিল্প কর্মী ও পরিবারের সদস্যদের ব্যক্তিগত অগ্রগতি ও পেশাগত উৎকর্ষ বৃদ্ধি বিষয়ক অনুষ্ঠান তৈরিতে কমিউনিটি রেডিও’র সক্ষমতা বৃদ্ধির লক্ষ্যে গত ৬ জুন থেকে ৮ জুন ২০২২ পর্যন্ত ঢাকায় অনুষ্ঠিত হলো প্রশিক্ষক প্রশিক্ষণ কর্মশালা। উক্ত কর্মশালার উদ্দেশ্য হলো- কার্যকরী যোগাযোগ কৌশল, সমস্যা সমাধান ও সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণ, সময় ও মানসিক চাপ ব্যবস্থাপনা, অর্থনৈতিক সাক্ষরতা, পানি, পয়ঃনিষ্কাশন ও স্বাস্থ্যবিধি বিষয়ে রেডিও সম্প্রচাকারীদের ধারণা প্রদান এবং উল্লেখিত বিষয়ে সৃজনশীলভাবে রেডিও অনুষ্ঠান তৈরির জন্য সম্প্রচারকারীদের জ্ঞান ও দক্ষতা বৃদ্ধিকরণ। কর্মশালায় দেশের ১০টি কমিউনিটি রেডিও’র মোট ১৭ জন সম্প্রচারকারী অংশগ্রহণ করেন।
তিনদিন ব্যাপী আয়োজিত উক্ত কর্মশালায় অংশগ্রহণকারীগণ সমস্যা সমাধান ও সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণ সম্পর্কিত প্রাথমিক ধারণা,সমস্যা মোকাবেলা করা ও সমস্যা সমাধানের ধাপ, সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণ প্রক্রিয়া , সমস্যা সমাধান ও সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণের জন্য ঐক্যমত তৈরিতে যোগাযোগের ভ‚মিকা, পরিবারে, কর্মক্ষেত্রে এবং কমিউনিটিতে সমস্যা সমাধান ও সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণের দক্ষতা। সময় ও মানসিক চাপ ব্যবস্থাপনা সম্পর্কিত প্রাথমিক ধারণা, সময়ের মূল্য , অগ্রাধিকার ও লক্ষ্য নির্ধারণ, সময় নিরীক্ষা , বহুমুখী কাজ ও বহুমুখী ভূমিকা, ইতিবাচক ভাবনা, জেন্ডার ও সময় ব্যবস্থাপনা ইত্যাদি সম্পর্কে ধারনা লাভ করেন এবং এ সম্পির্কত অনুষ্ঠান তৈরির কলা-কৌশল শেখেন।

উক্ত বিষয়গুলো নিয়ে আলোচনা করেন মিস. জাকিয়া ফেরদৌস, ওয়েলফেয়ার ম্যানেজার, স্ট্যান্ডার্ড গ্রুপ, জনাব আমীন আল রশীদ এডিটর, কারেন্ট অ্যাফেয়ার্স, নেক্সাস টেলিভিশন এবং জনাব রেজা মাহমুদ আল হুদা, ফ্রিল্যান্স কন্সালটেন্ট। কর্মশালার সমাপনী অনুষ্ঠানের বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিতি ছিলেন জনাব মুশতানজিদা পারভীন (সিনিয়র সহকারী সচিব) এসাইনমেন্ট অফিসার, এনজিও বিষয়ক ব্যুরো, প্রধানমন্ত্রীর কার্যালয় এবং সম্মানিত অতিথি হিসেবে জনাব লীনা নাসরিন, প্রোগ্রাম ম্যানেজার, পেস গ্লোবাল ইন্সিয়েটিভস, গ্যাপ ইন।

উল্লেখ্য বাংলাদেশ এনজিওস নেটওয়ার্ক ফর রেডিও এন্ড কমিউনিকেশন (বিএনএনআরসি) গ্যাপ ইন এর সহায়তায় কারিগরি ও জীবন দক্ষতা উন্নয়নের মাধ্যমে গ্রামীণ যুব ও যুব নারীদের বিশেষ করে পোশাক শিল্প কর্মীদের সক্ষমতা বৃদ্ধি করার লক্ষ্যে কমিউনিটি রেডিও’র মাধ্যমে পোশাক শিল্প কর্মী ও পরিবারের সদস্যদের ব্যক্তিগত অগ্রগতি ও পেশাগত উৎকর্ষ বৃদ্ধি বিষয়ক একটি প্রকল্প বাস্তবায়ন করছে। উক্ত প্রকল্পের আওতায় ২০ জন কমিউনিটি রেডিও সম্প্রচারকারীকে প্রশিক্ষক হিসেবে মনোনয়ন করা হয়েছে। প্রকল্পের উদ্দেশ্য হলো গ্রামীণ যুব ও যুব নারীদের বিশেষ করে পোশাক শিল্প কর্মীদের ক্ষমতায়নের জন্য তাদের ব্যক্তিগত অগ্রগতি এবং কারিগরি ও জীবন দক্ষতা উন্নয়নের মাধ্যমে পেশাগত উৎকর্ষ বৃদ্ধি। তারই ধারাবাহিকতায় কমিউনিটি রেডিও’র মনোনীত সম্প্রচারকারীদের সক্ষমতা বৃদ্ধির লক্ষ্যে একািট কর্মশালার আয়োজন করা হয়েছে।

Capacity Building Training of Trainers for Personal Advancement and Career Enhancement Completed

A 3-days long Training of Trainers (ToT)wascompleted on8 June 2022 in Dhaka aiming to increase the capacity of Community Radio broadcasters topromote the personal advancement and professional excellence of garment industry workers and family members through radio programs Bangladesh NGOs Network for Radio and Communication (BNNRC) organized the ToT under the project titled Promoting Foundation Skills and Support for Rural Youth Women for Empowerment supported by Gap Inc Personal Advancement and Career Enhancement (P.A.C.E.) Program.

The Objective of the ToT is to provide in-depth clarity and understanding of Conceptsof Problem Solving & Decision Making and Time & Stress Management and increase the knowledge and skill to produce innovative radio programs on those issues. A total of 17 participants participated in the ToT from 10 Community Radios in the country.

The Community Radios are Community Radio Padma 99.2FM (Rajshahi), Community Radio Nalta 99.2FM (Kaliganj, Satkhira), Community Radio Lokobetar 99.2FM (Barguna Sadar, Barguna), Community Radio Sagor Giri 99.2FM (Shitakunda, Chattogram), Community Radio Chilmari 99.2FM (Chilmari, Kurigram), Community Radio Meghna 99.0FM(Charfasion, Bhola), Community Radio Sarabela 98.8FM (Radhakrishnopur, Gaibandha), Community Radio Bikrampur (Munshigonj, 99.2FM), Community Radio Saikat, 99.0 FM (Cox’s Bazar), Community Radio Sagordwip, 99.2FM, Hatia Noakhali.

In the 3-day training the participants have learnedabout theBasic concepts of Problem Solving & Decision Making (PSDM), Consensus Building, Basic Concepts of Time & Stress Management, (TSM) Time Audit, Goal Setting & Prioritization, Multitasking, Multiple roles & Stress Management, Positive Thinking &Exercises for Relaxation in theatrically and practically ( Group Work) Besides, the participants will be able to develop scripts and learn the techniques to produce radio programs on PSDM and TSM for community people. The sessions are facilitated by Ms. Jakia Ferdous, Welfare Manager Standard Group Mr. Amin Al Rasheed, Current Affairs Editor, Nexus TV and Mr. Reza Mahmud Al Huda, Freelance Consultant.

In the closing session, Ms. Mushtanjida Pervin, Senior Assistant Secretary (Assignment Officer, NGO Affairs Bureauwas present as Special Guest. Lina Nasrin, Program Manager,P.A.C.E. Global Initiatives, Gap Inc.was present as Guest of Honor where Mr. Bazlur Rahman, Chief Executive Officer welcomed the guest participantsto the session and highlighted the aims and objectives of the program.

After the ToT, the broadcasters get in-depth clarity and understand the concepts of PSDM & TSM modules, the technique of script writing, program production, stakeholders’ engagement, the mechanism to reach the community and archiving in the programs. BNNRC is being implemented the project to enhance the capacity of rural youth and young women, especially garment workers and their family members, by developing technical and life skills supported by Gap Inc P.A.C.E. Program through 10 Community Radios in the country. Under the project, 20 community radio broadcasters have been nominated as trainers.

Under the project, the radios are Produce and Broadcast a total of 200 issue-based Magazine Program (12-15 Minutes) and Radio Talks (25-30 Minutes). The Issues of the Radio Programs are -Communication, Problem-solving & decision making, Time & stress management, Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene, Financial Literacy.
